Articulate Goals
We start by clarifying what your goals are for therapy. These goals give therapy direction and help you and your therapist stay focused.

Experienced therapists helping men with
career, relationships and mental health

I'm holding it together—but barely.
We work with men to regain their motivation and build resilience

I don't get what they want from me.
We work with men to improve your relationship skills, understand what gets you triggered, and how to change stuck dynamics with your partner.

I never had a model for this.
We help you understand what shaped you and deliberately build what comes next.

I don't talk to anyone about this.
We help men to find support when they feel isolated.

I can't stop drinking, smoking, or using drugs.
We work with men to understand and manage addictive patterns, including concerns related to pornography use and sexual addiction.

I don't know what I'm doing with my life anymore.
We work with men to clarify their values, resolve internal conflicts, and build a life that reflects who they actually are.
We work with men through a deliberate, active process called ASAP. Therapy is not just about talking. It is a structured cycle of reflection and action to help you move your life forward.

We start by clarifying what your goals are for therapy. These goals give therapy direction and help you and your therapist stay focused.

We help you examine patterns, emotional reactions, and struggles both in the past and present, so you can understand what's happening beneath the surface.

Insight is only useful if it changes how you live. Together, we identify specific ways to bring your insights from therapy into action in your daily life.

Change requires challenge. Your therapist will respectfully name patterns, question familiar stories, and interrupt habits that keep you protected but stuck.
You reflect. You act. You bring those experiences back to therapy for further reflection and action. Over time, this cycle builds a stronger internal compass—so you can find your North Star and continue growing long after therapy ends.
Focused treatment for the issues most likely to impact men's lives and relationships
Are you struggling to connect with the man you love? We can help!
The modern world is designed to addict us. Psychiatrist Anna Lembke speaks on Hidden Brain about the ways we get addicted, the affects of addiction, and how to free ourselves. Her book Dopamine Nation is a great read or listen.
Esther Perel is an amazing speaker and clinician who speaks eloquently about the nature of desire in long-term relationships and how we struggle with keeping our sex lives alive. I'd highly recommend the audiobook versions of both of her books: Mating in Captivity and State of Affairs.
Pops - Fatherhood in Pieces. This collection of short stories by Michael Chabon speaks to the depth of relationships between fathers and sons. Also, Letters to My Son: A Father's Wisdom on Manhood, Life, and Love by Kent Nerburn is a moving tribute by the author to his father and a gift to his young son. For father's of daughters, I'd recommend: Strong Fathers Strong Daughters.
Packed with lots of information on become a new father (during pregnancy and after the baby is born), take a look at: The Expectant Father and We're Pregnant! The First Time Dad's Pregnancy Handbook.
For some humor about what it's like to be a father, Jim Gaffigan's Dad is Fat is great.
In The New Rules of Marriage, Terry Real teaches about how to overcome those fights that can spiral out of control.
The All-or-Nothing Marriage by Eli Finkel. A great book about the ways we expect our partners to meet any and all of our individual needs.
An excellent, and entertaining, look into what Couples Therapy looks like can be seen on the Showtime reality show, Couples Therapy.
Contracts of Love & Money That Make or Break Relationships with James Sexton, a marriage and divorce lawyer who talks about prenuptual agreements on the Andrew Huberman podcast.
Robert Greene gives voice to the necessity of understanding human aggression and self interest. He offers some of the best wisdom on how to strategically manage complex relationships and win. Thinking about how to navigate complex social dynamics in the workplace? I'd highly recommend both The 48 Laws of Power and The 33 Strategies of War.
Attachment theory forms the core of how present day psychologists think about relationships. For a quick video primer take a look at these two videos by the School of Life. What is Your Attachment Style and The Challenges of Anxious-Avoidant Relationships.
